So wonderful! The rich and warm notes are amazing!

Smells like how I would imagine a gentleman smelling in 1928, not my style but it’s a good scent!

I was apprehensive to try this one on skin because it smells exactly like a very expensive gin in the bottle, and while amazing, I wasn't sure I wanted to smell *like* that. However, on skin, the gin scent tones down within just a few minutes and blends beautifully with an amber note. I love ambers, though the very heavy, dark ones become too much for me after a couple hours. But this is a very wearable amber! The gin notes are still there, but more in the background to my nose.

Update: I don’t know why but I can’t get this scent to last. Clothes or skin, self or spouse, doesn’t matter. Even got a second sample from a different batch later and it fades away quickly. The weird thing is both samples had more longevity and projection for the first week or so, then they started to do the fading thing. I don’t think I’m going nose blind because other people can’t smell it unless they’re sniffing our clothes directly. I’m still in love but I’m perplexed by this one. I haven’t full sized for that reason.

Rich woody amber with a sparkling overlay from the G&T. Smells like old money and smart, luxurious finishes. Vintage but not stuffy.

This perfume is a surprise! I expected it to be juniper forward due to the gin and tonic but it actually smells like warm cedar when it first hits my skin. Maybe from the combo of the musk and amber? Either way, it's beautifully woody. As it settles, the velvety musk really starts to emerge. I don't really get the gin note specifically but I do think it lends a cool note to what is otherwise a very warm/cozy scent.

Low throw and longevity. I have to reapply a few times for all day wear. This one stays close.
