from 38 reviewsJust received this today and I’m blown away with how amazing this smells! I’m a little sad summer is almost over because this is a perfect summer scent. That’s not going to stop me from wearing it now!
Ok so real talk, I generally do not like florals. Particularly rose, as often times I don't get the green, dewy rose but rather I want to say something more powdery and more vintage. This is NOT the case for Candoro Marble. That rose is straight up very like just freshly cut, still green and the petals are heavy with dew, and that peppermint... it gives this a really refreshing feel, honestly! I almost find that it cuts a lot of the rose's initial POW and really helps even it out.
A surprise hit for me! Honestly, this gives me vibes of like one of those grass-type Pokemon trainers, you know the ones, with the sundresses or gardening outfits on and I mean that in the best way :)
Rich woody amber with a sparkling overlay from the G&T. Smells like old money and smart, luxurious finishes. Vintage but not stuffy.
By far the most surprising and sleeper hit of my order. It’s got this cozy amber sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the sort of dusty atmospheric vibe. I don’t quite get a booziness to it if you’re worried about that! But maybe a slightly woody or herbal facet meant to be the g&t. Going to full-size this for sure!
Starts with a wave of realistic, tangy grapefruit, which may be my favorite citrus note. It's a tinge salty and the saltwater note gets stronger but doesn't overtake the grapefruit at first, it blends in together as a woodsy note lurks in the background. It becomes a pleasant blend of citrus, woods and saltwater, then morphs into this musky/musty scent as the grapefruit subsides. The grapefruit note doesn't last the length of the fragrance but that's pretty standard for a lot of citrus notes in indie perfumes so it's ok. According to the scent description, this is supposed to be reminiscent of the beach, but it's more like if you're approaching the beach from several blocks away, the "saltwater" note is clean and fresh, no oceanic scent (if that makes sense), more like the ambient salt scent you'd smell in the air on your way there. I like this, it leans a bit masc (just on the drydown) in my opinion so I'll have to revisit it, but so far I've been very impressed with this house.
I've tried about ten different perfumes that purport to have a cannabis note and this is the only one that realistically captures that scent for me. It's green and a bit spicy and not really "dank", it really brings out the floral aspect of the cannabis. Then I get a whiff of something that smells like hops, which I guess is the "spilled beer". Nothing like actual spilled beer, which is good because I was a bit apprehensive about that note. As it dries down, the cannabis subsides and blends in with the floral from the daisy note. I never got a smoke or incense note from it, but I can't stop sniffing my wrist, this is so good!
I wasn't sure about grass in perfume, but this smells so good — dewy and vibrant green notes that bring to mind freshly trimmed grass and sweet clover. The fragrance of blooming magnolia fills the air, rich and creamy with glimmers of juicy lemon. Balmy skin musk slowly emerges, creating a soft, summer glow that feels warm and inviting.
This scent is incredibly nostalgic, it reminds me of summer afternoons as a kid, relaxing on the porch with a book as my parents finished mowing the lawn, and the humidity drew out the heady fragrance of southern magnolias.
As weird as it sounds, smelling this takes me back to hanging out with my grandfather in his garage. He didn’t drink often, but one of his guilty pleasures was sitting out in the garage with the radio on and a Malibu and cranberry in hand after a hot day of yard work. The leather and grass notes with the coconut really bring those memories to life for me. If you’re looking for a creamy gourmand this one is not for you, but if you’re looking for a “dry” more fresh smelling coconut definitely give this a try!
This scent almost perfectly captures the lake day vibes I remember as a kid and is probably my favorite of the samples I tried. Initially I smell water and petrichor notes that then transition into a familiar floral with undertones of sunscreen and inner tubes warmed by the sun. Will definitely be getting the full size in the future
I loved this from first sniff. And it's number three in my Sunsphere loves behind Lake Days and Sunsphere sunset!
It starts off as a cold, rich marble and mellows into a beautiful soft rosy coolness. I definitely expected a cold, hard scent (which this does beautifully) but I didn't expect it to also be so cozy. When the sandalwood, mint and rose merge, it's such an incredibly beautiful mix.
I love the unique and nuanced scent along with the descriptions that transport you to a specific time and place. Loved getting to order a sampler pack to determine which was my optimal scent, in which circumstances. The Homegrown Tomato was a great refresh on a summer day doing errands, and the 1928 completes the look for a night out.
My sweet friend, you have completely nailed the scent of summer with this one. It's gardening and playing in the dirt while it's barely raining. It's that aroma that one always says "goodness, I wish someone would put that fragrance in a bottle"! You have done just that. And it wears so well for the entire day. This is definitely my favorite for so many reasons! Hobbits would be envious ;)
Oh, I love this. It so super clean and fresh when you first put it on and then for me the heirloom roses remain, leaving me with a sense of fond memories from childhood. It's not overpowering at all (this is not your granny's bath powder smell!!) but just enough of a whiff that brings me back to "it" when it hits. Definitely a favorite!!
Opening is pleasantly salty, fresh n' tart. It initially has that pepper'y, zippy grapefruit kick to it but settles in smoother. It's fruity, quickly followed by a funk-free saltwater. Then soon after that, the warm, woody boardwalk emerges. I also start to smell a soft lemon-like note at this point. It's a well blended mix with layers. The boardwalk note is mellow. 'Stays a true unisex scent without teetering into men's summer body wash territory. On skin this has an unexpected musky aspect! It smells like warm skin when ya' get out of a saltwater pool. The scent overall has an airy, aquatic vibe that I can easily see others enjoying!
