Sunsphere Sunset

I’m not usually a lavender fan but I adore this! For me, the coffee and sandalwood are not extremely prominent, but they are there if you look for them. I’m not entirely sure what scent is most forward in this because it’s so well-blended- but without getting muddy or confusing! It’s just gorgeous. I liked it from the start, but a few months later and I’m now kind of obsessed. Usually it’s the opposite for me, I’ll like a fragrance to start and become neutral or a little worn out on it later and set it aside for a time.

I spritz my bed with Sunsphere Sunset every night before I crawl in- it’s so freaking cozy and comforting. I’m going to need a backup bottle soon! And I do not go through perfumes rapidly at all!

A bright (citrus?) opening with a woody lavender drydown. So beautiful!

Right off the bat I get hits of really good amber, lavender, & sandalwood. It smells warm, snuggly, resinous, & luxurious! On fabric, I get something citrus'y mixed in hanging out in the back with a non-overpowering dry coffee bean note. The citrus'y smell I keep picking up is juicy, orange, almost berry like! However on skin, I'm pulling more lavender, it's that soft musky smelling one. It doesn't have that astringent or herbal opening some lavenders do. The floral blends right in & the scent as a whole feels harmonious. It lights something up in my brain not in just a "This smells good" way, but in a "This makes me feel good" way.

Sunsphere Scents’ signature fragrance is velvety soft and comforting, like the warmth of vanilla and morning sunshine filtered through the curtains of your kitchen window. Familiar but unique.

This will now be one of my favorite bed times scents because it’s so cozy and comforting. I see myself wrapped in one of my favorite blankets, sitting outside on a cold evening as the stars are shining and drinking a delicious cup of coffee.. that’s the imagery that comes to mind when I smell this on me. It’s not too heavy for an all year ‘round scent but still has a lovely presence. The amber and coffee notes are in perfect harmony and the lavender adds a nice clean floral touch. This is so well-blended and the longevity is amazing!
