I am loving all the scents! I know this one is about 1998 (which I like a lot), but my favorite is probably Hodges! I adore this sweet little collection about our town. Thanks, Amber!
This, to me, is the "Platonic ideal" of a fall fragrance! The classic cinnamon-nutmeg combo is here, but that's not all. It really does smell ORANGE (the color)--there is something I associate with the smell of a burning candle, but not the wax or the smoke, specifically the flame, somehow? And the camphorous benzoin opening calls to mind the scent of Icy-Hot muscle rub that permeated the locker rooms of my occasionally-sporty youth. That's a really unexpected dimension that takes this beyond "basic" and paints a very compelling olfactory "picture". Amazing.
This is such a unique scent. It’s very fall (to me), but not in a traditional way. The spices really shine and it really feels very orange to me (the color, not the fruit). It’s lovely and cozy and special. I love it!
